Learn About Sunscreen News And Tips
Installing window screen is essential when you want to open the windows and let in fresh air yet keep out bugs and insects. It is quite easy to install window screens and most of the homes in Arizona have sunscreens on windows and doors. There are basically two types of sunscreen materials used in windows and doors- fiberglass and aluminum. Fiberglass is less expensive and blocks the sun more effectively but it tends to sag with the passage of time. Aluminum screens are expensive but strong. However, it tends to rust in humid climatic conditions. Window Screen Installation
Screen kit Window screen installation process is made easier with the help of a screen kit. These kits are available in a wide variety of sizes to suit the windows of your home. These screen kits have a rubber cord that binds the screen to the frame, corner pieces and four sided frames. All that you need to do is follow the manufacturer’s instructions and begin assembling the screen. Majority of the window screens can be installed from the inside. You may find pegs, tabs or sliders inside the frame. Hold these tabs facing inside your home. Different types of window screens are installed in a different way. Window screens with two tabs at the bottom have levers that clasp the screen in the frame. Draw the levers in by squeezing both the tabs towards the center. This will release the top end and the bottom of the screen into its track. Installation Use small clamps to fasten one side of the screen to the window. This helps to keep the screen tight on the frame. Now you can roll the screen into the grove on the side of the clamps using a screen roller. Then, secure it using spline and push it back into its place. Now you can repeat the same process on all the four sides of the frame. Fasten the screens completely and put it back in place on the window. Now you can sit back and enjoy the fresh air in your home. Comments are closed.
